What is Appivo?

Appivo is a next-gen low-code platform for building both web and mobile applications.

What is low-code?

Low-code development platforms such as Appivo greatly accelerate the development process by simplifying many aspects of traditional software development. Some solutions, like Appivo, are Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solutions, as they also provide operational/runtime hosting services.

Can I create both web and mobile apps?

Yes! In fact, you can create a single Appivo app that has both web and mobile interfaces. This is great when you have desk workers that can take advantage of interfaces designed for larger screens, but that also need a mobile interface while on the go.

Can I create native mobile apps?

Yes. Well, sort of. In addition to web apps typically used with a browser on a desktop or laptop, Appivo creates what’s called hybrid mobile apps. Hybrid mobile apps are mobile web apps that are wrapped in a native wrapper so that they can be natively installed.

Can I create both Android and iOS mobile apps?

Yes. Once you create a mobile app you have the option to create mobile binaries for both iOS and Android. Creating iOS mobile binaries requires integration to your Apple App Store Connect account. Creating Android mobile binaries does not require an integration, but you will need an Android Play Store developer account to publish your binaries to the Play Store.

Do I need to be an expert developer?

No! Almost anyone can build basic, data-driven applications with Appivo. However Appivo was built with different skill levels in mind, so if you are an experienced developer then you can flex your JavaScript, HTML and CSS muscles.

Is my data secure?

Yes! All data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.

Does Appivo own my data?

No! No way. Your data is yours.

How do I reset my password?

Go to the login page at https://apps.appivo.com/ and click the Forgot Password? link. If you no longer have access to your email account then you’ll need to contact your administrator, create a new account or contact us.

What if I can’t find an answer to my question?

Search our docs, ask our community, or depending on your plan, contact support. If that doesn’t work, we suggest asking a Magic 8 Ball. It’s how we make all of our important decisions.
