An Administrator manages branding settings to change the look and content of some aspects of the Appivo platform. An administrator can customize the login page, and email and sms templates. Branding settings are applied to the following areas:

  • Login page
  • Email services
  • SMS services

Login

An Administrator can alter the appearance of the Login page. The Appivo login screen is provided by default, and can be viewed at apps.appivo.com.

Login Page

Description of fields:

Description
Title
Enter the name of the company.Company name contains alphanumeric characters and hyphens. They are not case sensitive.
Tagline
Enter a tagline to describe the value of a brand or its product.
Sign up link text
Enter alphanumeric text. This text is displayed for the sign up link.
Sign up link
Enter the link to register. This is used to direct users to a website sign up form instead of the built-in registration feature.
Post activation link
Enter a valid url. After a successful registration a new user will be redirected to this link. A blank value is also valid.
Logo
Upload an image. It is a good idea to use images that are easily recognized by users, such as a corporate logo.
Background
Select one of the options :
– Color Image
– Library Image
Colors
Select one of the options:
– Accent color
– Border color
– Text color
– Card background color
– Button text color
When setting a color, use the color picker or enter a color hex value.

✰Note: The link for the customized login page is displayed below the preview. This link can be shared with all users to provide a branded login experience.

Email

An Administrator can customize email templates. These settings apply to the emails that are sent to new users to activate their accounts, and when an existing user requests a password reset. Appivo-branded email content is displayed by default. 

✰Note: When modifying the default content, ensure not to break any included URLs.

Sender Name
By default, emails are sent from system@appivo.com. Administrators may choose to use a sender name so that emails are sent from: Your Name
Reply To Address
Administrators may choose to include a Reply-To address with emails. Most email clients will address any replies to this email address. Replies sent to system@appivo.com will not be processed.
Reset to Default
By default, Appivo-supplied content is configured for most of the fields. An administrator can return to these default values at any time using the Reset to Default button.

Activation Email

Administrators can edit the subject and body of activation emails, which are sent to new users to confirm their email addresses and activate their accounts. Activation emails contain a link that should not be modified. 

The Activation email section has two display modes:

  1. Source – Allows administrators to enter html email content.
  2. What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) – A visual html editor.

Password Reset Email

Administrators can edit the subject and body of password reset emails, which are sent to users that request a new password, or if an administrator requests a reset on their behalf. Reset emails contain a link that should not be modified.

  2. What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) – A visual html editor.

SMS

Administrators can customize SMS templates. These settings apply to SMS messages that are sent to new users to activate their accounts, and when an existing user requests a password reset. Appivo default messages are displayed by default. SMS messages are sent to users who have a valid mobile number in their profile.

✰Note: When modifying the default content, care should be taken not to break any included URLs.

In some locations, administrators may choose to display a custom SMS Sender Name. This feature is not supported in all countries (It is restricted in the US).

Administrators can edit the body of activation SMS messages, which are sent to new users to confirm their identity and activate their accounts. Activation messages contain a link that should not be modified.

Password Reset SMS

Administrators can edit the body of password reset SMS messages, which are sent to users that request a new password, or if an administrator requests a reset on their behalf. Reset messages contain a link that should not be modified.

Reset to Default

By default, Appivo-supplied content is configured for most of the fields. An administrator can return to these default values at any time using a Reset to Default button.
